Very pleased with size, weight and capability of battery. Not many places to mount a normal size battery in a Model A street rod. Size enabled me to choose between several mounting locations. The one thing that did not please me was the manufacture date of the battery-it was 1 1/2 years old when I received it.

Datsun -- that's right we said Datsun -- revealed teaser sketches on Tuesday of its first new generation car, which will be unveiled in New Delhi, India on July 15. Normally we don't go much for teasers, but when it's a “new” car brand, we take notice. Datsun operated worldwide starting in 1914, until the last badge was peeled off a car in 1986, being replaced by Nissan.

The 2011 Ford Explorer Because it’s unlikely we will get the 2011 Ford Explorer on this side of the Pond, we haven’t covered its interminable tease in any real detail. Yes, we reported on the 2011 Explorer getting Ford’s new Curve Control, an electronanny designed to cure understeer, but we didn’t report every silly photo Ford released. But not being thorough on reporting a really boring and drawn out tease is one thing, but we can’t ignore the launch of a new version of a vehicle that until quite recently was selling almost 500k a year.
