This listing is for a NEW never installed Gentex auto dimming OnStar inside rearview mirror. This mirror is a factory option in 2006 thru 2011 Buick Lucerne and 2008-2009 Buick Lacrosse models, and on some of these vehicles, the wiring for this mirror is already in place so it could be as simple as removing your manual dim OnStar mirror and replacing it with this one. Take a look at your mirror plug...if you see 7 or 9 wires there, you are pre-wired for the autodim mirror option, so in that case, upgrading from the manual-dim mirror to this one will be nothing more than simply swapping out the mirrors. Mirror is GM part number 15816792 / Gentex 511.  Mirror is in fantastic condition & works perfectly, of course, because it is NEW!!

I have a WIDE variety of mirrors available - please see my other items!.

It can also be used in any vehicle that uses a standard wedge mount for the mirror (you can still use the mirror even if you don't have OnStar).

Mirror will be shipped promptly via INSURED USPS Priority Mail. Also,  if you buy more than one of my items, I do combine multiple purchases into one shipment to keep shipping charges as low as possible.  Payment required within 3 days of end of auction.

If you have any questions, please be sure to email me before you buy this item.  I can't stress enough how important it is to ask questions before you buy something instead of after.  I want to be sure that you know what you're getting, so I am always more than happy to answer your questions.  Also - by buying this mirror, it is assumed that you have decent technical knowledge & the ability to install this in your vehicle.  If you do not, please have this professionally installed - just about any mechanic, car dealer or stereo shop can put these in for you.  It's not worth risking damaging your vehicle.

Thank you!!

Disclaimer: this mirror is guaranteed not to be DOA but does not include any other warranty of any sort, express or implied, and this mirror is not supplied by Mito Corporation.

Please Note: Orders submitted & paid for prior to 5pm Eastern time generally will be shipped the following business day.

Chevy Camaro Z/28 programmed with flying car logic

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

Most of the time when on a racetrack, or anywhere for that matter, you want to keep all four wheels on the ground. Sure, it's cool when a VW Golf gets a wheel up during an autocross event, still, it's less traction going to the ground for braking, accelerating or turning. But if you're really going for a hot lap, catching a little air is often par for the course.

THE CHARITY Sustrans, which encourages people to travel by foot, bike or public transport, has welcomed plans to cut speed limits within the City of London to 20mph. The City of London's Court of Common Council approved the plan to reduce the speed limit to 20mph in the City as part of its Road Danger Reduction Plan. It is argued that the plan will reduce casualties by almost 10% while adding only a minute to journey times.
