CBC-1 Powerkote Ceramic Coating from Tech Line Coatings provides a hard, durable thermal barrier overlay to any engine component. It works great on pistons, valves, bottom side of intake manifolds, combustion chambers, and exhaust cylinder head ports. Provides a highly reflective thermal barrier for reduced part operating temperatures, higher resistance to detonation, and increased combustion chamber efficiency. CBC-1 allows minimal transfer of heat through the coated surface which also reduces load on the cooling system. May be formulated with additional fillers to increase wear or abrasion resistance. Use at home or at the shop. 3 oz bottle.

BMW has launched a smartphone and tablet app – ‘BMW i3: Become Electric’, which it claims allows users to virtually test drive the new i3 without so much as setting foot outside their front door, yet alone finding the time to head to a BMW dealership. It’s seemed likely for some time that Lewis Hamilton would leave McLaren for Mercedes, and this morning McLaren has confirmed that’s exactly what’s happening. The move to Mercedes for Hamilton takes him away from the team that has nurtured his talent from childhood and given him a life he could never have dreamed of.
