Jawa motorcycles were introduced in India in 1960 and they have a cult following to this present day. Production was carried out directly in India by Ideal Jawa India Ltd based out of Mysore. The Jawa 353/04 designated as 'A' Type, Yezdi 250 'B' Type, Jawa 350 type 634 Twin and Yezdi 250 Monarch models are driven to this day in various parts of the country. Jawa and Yezdi bikes, especially the ones with fuel tank padding and ignition systems on the fuel tank are now collectors’ items.

Ideal Jawa (India) Ltd was an Indian motorcycle company based in Mysore, and sold licensed JAWA and CZ motorcycles beginning in 1960 under the brand name Jawa and later Yezdi. The catchphrase for the bikes sold by the firm was "Forever bike forever value".

Sadly, the company stopped production in 1996, when Japanese models were introduced in India, with lesser engine capacities, and better fuel economy.

Added to that, labour trouble contributed to the  company's collapse, and increasing levels of pollution control norms which were making the two stroke bikes that the company produced obsolete.

Ideal Jawa also exported many of the above models to over 61 countries around the world including Egypt, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Guatemala, Venezuela and others.

Spare parts for these bikes are no longer in production, and are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

If you have ANY question, please do not hesitate to ask ! I have dozens of Jawa parts that are not listed here !!

McLaren P1 bare carbon fibre option

Tue, 11 Jun 2013

McLaren are considering a full bare carbon fibre option for the P1 (pictured) With the McLaren P1 now getting close to hitting the road as a customer car (and arriving at Goodwood on the move in July), the lucky few with pockets deep enough to buy a car that will cost them pushing on £1 million are busy poring over the options for the P1. We spoke to one such customer over the weekend who was busy deciding which boxes to tick on the P1 spec sheet, and he was under the impression that McLaren were offering a full bare carbon fibre option for the P1, and at no cost. Which didn’t sound right.

McLaren P1 tests in Arctic, MP4-12C at drag strip

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

McLaren has produced less than a handful of road cars in its 50-year existence, and they've all been hits. The company currently sells two cars for the street: the P1 and the MP4-12C, and they both require the “super” moniker. The McLaren P1 made its debut at the Paris motor show in September, and has been the subject of many analyses ever since.

Webinars: Autodesk – Concept Modeling with Maya

Mon, 08 Oct 2012

Autodesk presented its third Webinar in the series entitled ‘Concept Modeling with Maya' that illustrates how the software helps to create concept models. Martin Emila of Autodesk showed how Maya could accelerate the development of a design concept with the help of polygonal modeling workflow, and how it can be integrated into common workflow - starting with first ideation sketch, move to polygon model and continue to surfacing and visualization. Emila's four-year career at Autodesk has largely focused on conceptual design and visualization.
