Thu, 10 Sep 2009The new Koenigsegg Trevita, with diamond finish Carbon Fibre This is the first time that Koenigsegg’s visible carbon weave has been produced in anything other than bog-standard black. But in the Treviat it looks stunning – it shimmers in a way its namesake would be proud of. The CCXR Trevita will – we assume – come with the same bio-fuel engine as the CCXR Edition, as Koenigsegg has told us that this car will produce the same mammoth 1018 bhp, and sub-3 second 0-60, as the Edition.
Ford Mondeo/Fusion unveiled at 2012 Detroit show
Mon, 09 Jan 2012Ford unveiled its new 2013 Mondeo at the Detroit auto show - the new Mondeo is in fact now a Fusion in Euro drag. Under the One Ford rules, most major car projects are in fact global affairs, so the Mondeo follows in the footsteps of the Focus, also unveiled in Detroit two years ago and brought to Europe a year later. We'll have a similarly long wait for the Ford Fusion to make the leap to the European Mondeo, with a launch slated for spring 2013.
2010 Devon GTX shown at Pebble Beach concours
Sat, 15 Aug 2009The 2010 Devon GTX, a 650-hp supercar from California design house Devon Motorworks, was shown Saturday at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The speed demon will cost $500,000 and go on sale in the first quarter of next year. Just 36 cars will be produced per year by the company.
