INSTALLATION GUIDELINES FOR COMPRESSORS
- Parts are to be installed by a certified automotive technician.
- YOU MUST ADD OIL! Drain any oil shipped in compressor (used for lubrication during shipment only) and add the proper amount of PAG oil. Put the oil in through the bolt on the body of compressor (where applicable). After the oil is added, use your hand or spanner wrench and turn the clutch hub 10 to 15 times before you install the compressor as this will lubricate the compressor before turning on the system, and prevent liquid slugging.
- Transfer any switches and brackets from the old compressor to the new one where applicable.
- Replace the accumulator/drier, orifice tube/expansion device, any hoses with muffler assemblies, inline filters, and parallel flow condensers (where applicable).
- The entire A/C system must be flushed completely with an approved flush. Do not use refrigerant to flush the system. Do not use an oil based flush as it will also contaminate the system.
- Evacuate the system for air and moisture that may get into the system while in tear down mode, using a vacuum pump, pumping the system down to at least 29 inches for at least 45 minutes. If above 80 degrees and a dual system 60 minutes.
- Recharge the system with the recommended refrigerant.
REMEMBER
Flushing is the best way to get rid of any old oil and contaminants that will damage the new replacement parts. When parts fail, debris and metal shavings are the worst enemy to an a/c system and causes premature wear and/or failures.
Failure to flush the system will void your warranty
WARRANTY
The products sold by PHMA are warranted for twelve (12) months to be free of any manufacturer’s defects from the original date of purchase.
If the product fails because of a manufacturing defect during this time frame, we will replace the item or issue a refund for the purchase price.
PHMA covers replacement or refund of item(s) but
does not cover or reimburse for any of the following:
- Installation cost (labor)
- Additional parts
- Refrigerant
- Towing or Rental cost
- Shipping
Please review the installation guidelines carefully. Failure to do so will void your warranty.
You must contact us for an RMA (return authorization) and shipping instructions to make a warranty claim. The parts must be returned to us freight prepaid.
- Parts are to be installed by a certified automotive technician.
- If parts are missing, refund or partial credit will not be issued.
- If labels are missing or tampered with, warranty will be void.
- Replacement or refund will only be issued after the product has been returned postage paid, tested, and found to be defective (5-10 business days).
- Failure to follow the warranty terms or installation guidelines will void the warranty.
- Product which is not found defective will be returned to the customer or scrapped, at the customer’s expense and option.
- Installation receipts and invoice for additional parts purchased must be provided for any warranty.
- Items used on commercial units such as taxis, limousines, vans, Heavy Duty and Diesel pickups, trucks, and buses have a 90 day warranty from original date of purchase.
International Shipping:
1-We ship worldwide. Please email us before buying.
2-Wait for us to send your invoice with the international shipping amount.
3-Actual shipping plus $5 for handling of International paperwork.
4-We combine shipping on multiple item purchases. Please wait for us to do so. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
