 New compressor kit contains compressor with clutch, accumulator/drier ,expansion device (liquid line with O/T) , seal kit and oil as provided by the manufacturer.
Warranty: 90 days, extended to 1 year if installed by an ASE certified technician to industry standards.  Documentation required.

 NOTE:  SOME PARTS SELLERS WILL SELL YOU AN ORIFICE TUBE.  THAT WILL NOT
            WORK! THE OT IS PERMENANTLY FIXED IN THE LIQUID LINE.  YOU MUST                    REPLACE THE LIQUID LINE.
         
Warrannty conditions:  System must be flushed.  Evacuate for a minimum of 30 minutes (45 minutes for humid climate).  Compressor is shipped with oil as provided by manufacturer.. HOWEVER, technician is responsible for adjusting oil volume to vehicle manufacturer's specs.  New drier/accumulator and new expansion device must be installed - no exceptions!  Inspect condenser fins, cooling fan(s), belt and belt tensioner.

Changing an AC Compressor is not the same as changing a starter or alternator.  Be smart.  Take your vehicle to a shop with a certified technician and proper tools to do AC work. Shade tree mechanics have poor results changing AC compressors.









Saab 'developing diesel hybrids' to rival PSA's

Saab has been caught testing a 9-3 with a diesel hybrid engine, according to press reports in Sweden. It seems that France's PSA won't have the diesel-hybrid market all to itself. A reporter from Automobil magazine spotted a 9-3 prototype refuelling at a petrol station in Trollhattan as he returned a test car to the factory.

ABT Sportsline introduces 700 hp Audi RS6 Avant

Hot on the heels of their appearance at SEMA and their announcement to open a location in the U.S., the German tuning firm ABT Sportsline has unveiled two new versions of the Audi RS6 Avant, dubbed the ABT Power S and ABT Power. Apparently, ABT Sportsline felt that the 560 hp output of the stock 4.0-liter TFSI-engined Audi RS6 Avant wasn't enough, and tuned the ABT Power S version to produce 700 hp. That's a 25 percent increase in power over the stock version.

The CitiJet is the madcap brainchild of 16 budding Skoda designers, who were tasked with creating their ideal car out of an existing Skoda model. Effectively, a Citigo Sport has been turned into an open-top city slicker, but don’t ask how the roof closes because there isn’t one.
