Maserati at the Paris motor show 2008
Fri, 03 Oct 2008By Ben Barry Motor Shows 03 October 2008 09:17 Visitors to the Maserati stand at Paris were treated to Modena’s familiar but still nonetheless alluring two-car range with a trio of Quattroportes and a pair of Granturismos, the newest versions being the Granturismo S and the Quattroporte S. The Granturismo S makes this four-seat GT an altogether more hardcore proposition. Ford KA sells 500,000 in the UK
Wed, 15 Jul 2009Ford has racked up total sales of 500,000 KAs in the UK And despite a few reservations when we did our Ford KA Review a couple of months ago, it looks set to continue racking up the sales with the new KA, which has already racked up 11,000 sales in the UK since it was introduced. To be honest, our only real reservations on the new KA were a couple of subjective styling issues and the somewhat hard seats. But it is undoubtedly a funky and capable little car that will serve Ford well.
Funding sought to restore WWI lorry
Wed, 25 Jun 2014AN APPEAL has gone out for funding to complete the restoration of a three-ton lorry used in the First World War which is the last of its kind left. The Coventry-built Maudslay vehicle was one of more than 1,700 Maudslays that saw service in the Great War. Coventry Motor Museum which purchased the vehicle 14 years ago now needs to raise £5,000 to put the finishing touches to the restoration in time for the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War this summer.
