The presentation of the Audi-sponsored project was made to Walter de'Silva, Design Director Audi Brand Group, who was actively involved in the project along with Audi designers Gary Telaak for the exterior design and Ingo Von Bargen for the interior. In October the students were assigned the task by Walter de'Silva of giving shape to the evolution of the Audi Avant concept.

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

LONDONERS had better prepare themselves for another new generation of taxi, just days after Nissan confirmed its own assault on the Black Cab market. The plug-in hybrid Fraser-Nash Range Extended Electric Metrocab is capable of more than 75mpg and less than 50g/km of CO2, and is expected to cost no more than a current Hackney carriage. The company says the vehicle could save cabbies £30 to £40 per day in running costs and can go longer between fill-ups.

Tue, 02 Feb 2010

Batches of cars from the extensive collection of Texas attorney John O’Quinn--one of the most impressive collections of classic sheetmetal since William Harrah’s--will cross the auction block this spring at a pair of RM Auction events. O’Quinn, a noted attorney who died in a car crash last October, assembled a collection of at least 800 cars, and it could number as many as 1,300. Fifty-five cars from the collection will be sold at the RM auction on March 13 at Amelia Island, Fla.
