MotoGP champ Valentino Rossi creates special Vauxhall Adam
Thu, 07 Nov 2013Nine-time motorcycling Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi has teamed up with Opel to create a special version of its Adam city car. The Italian two-wheel demon collaborated with famous motorcycle helmet designer Aldo Drudi to create the one-off Adam (sold by Opel’s sister company Vauxhall here in the UK) – and boy, is it bright. The Korean brand insists its new people carrier will not only be able to transport eight passengers but also serve “as a purposeful offering for adventure seekers”. PearsonLloyd has decided to move away from the conventional technique of placing seats in different directions to allow reclining and has opted to arrange the seats in a ‘V' formation. This does not mean there is any invasion of personal space – far from it, as when passengers lie down their seat's consoles hide their heads.
