Fri, 18 Sep 2009The revised 2010 Lexus GS 450h launched at Frankfurt We covered the Lexus LF-Ch quite a bit – it was the Lexus big card for Frankfurt – and we managed to catch up with the 2010 LS600h yesterday. But Lexus has also had a fiddle with the GS 450h to produce a 2010 model. Much like the LS 600h the GS 450h gets few exterior tweaks to freshen it up, including a new grill, new rear lights and a fresh set of 18″ alloys on the SE-L version.
Runaway ostrich causes traffic chaos
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Rush hour in the town of Tunbridge Wells took a humorous turn yesterday when a runaway ostrich shot past cars at speeds of over 40mph, with a clear disregard for road conditions, traffic and speed limits. Alarmingly, the rogue bird is still on the run from police and there are fears it could cause carnage in the town centre, as the RSCPA warns fully-grown ostriches max out at around 60mph. Mon, 31 Mar 2014It was Glorious Goodwood on the last weekend of March, for Lord March’s latest classic motorsport event – the 72nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting. It’s one of only two race weekends to be held at the circuit since it reopened in the late 1990s: Lord March wants it to complement the world-famous September Goodwood Revival and become known as a classic in its own right. The difference here is that, as its name suggests, it’s a members-only event: only Goodwood Road Racing Club (GRRC) members can buy tickets.
