This is from a Project I started several years ago, but I never completed! This is a "NEW" Offenhauser Tunnel Ram Base *5921, Dated 08-02-1991, for a 283-327-350-400 SB Chevy Motor. This intake has provisions for the Road-Draft Tube or Oil Filler Tube used on Early SB Chevy V-8 motors, this can be plugged with a Brass Freeze Plug if necessary! The Port Size is for the *1205 and the smaller *1204 Intake Port Configuration! The T-Ram Base has the Threaded Fuel Injector Bungs Machined and Professionally Installed by BDS and these are the threaded Injector Weld-In Bungs, Created and Installed by Blower Drive Service. The bungs are trimmed at the connection to the intake, and do not protrude into the Intake Air-Flow! These threaded injector bungs are Tack-Welded @ 120 Degrees with 1/4" Welds in 3-places to eliminate intake-port distoration and then High-Temp Epoxy Sealed! This eliminates and warping of the intake, and eliminates Re-machine that is normally necessary after welding has been completed! This is not performed in this manor is not by others that offer this type of service! This type of installation was Developed and Perfected by BDS! The Bungs cost $15.00/ea and equal $120.00, the Installation and welding and epoxy work runs $275.00 for eight. BDS has performed many of the 8-Stack EFI Conversions, and does not need to Re-Machine the intake after performing this service! This has been performed by BDS, many times in the EFI Industry. The Show Polishing of this intake cost me over $150.00 Summit sells the T-Ram Base for $369.97, this Totals to $914.97, so I have quite a lot invested in this intake, and this is what you will need to get this done, so am offering that at less than 1/2 Price of what it will take to recreate this intake!
