This auction is for a NEW DEMO FACTORY OEM 1996 - 2000 JAGUAR XJ6 XJ8 XK8 R AUTO DIM REAR VIEW MIRROR It will also work on 1996 and Up JAGUAR LISTED This is a new open box (NOB) mirror and was used as display model. It has never been installed on any car before but might has some minor scratches on the mount or housing area due to demo purpose. It was used to display between the new and old version mirror for customer locally here. This mirror has a newer version with new dimming sensor and new technology which is using GEL to dim the mirror dimming feature instead of the old traditional oil to dim the mirror which cause the oil to leak out of the mirror and damage the dashboard or center console. The cord is smooth as this is a newer version type of mirror. Currently I have a few available for sell. Get it now for $134.99 while dealer cost over $400.00 dollars on a new mirror Fitment:
1997 - 2001 Jaguar XK8 (without auto headlight and rain sensor features) 1997 - 2000 Jaguar Vanden Plas (without auto headlight and rain sensor features) It might fit other models as well but please check to make sure. The mirror glass looks clean and the auto dim work perfectly. This is a 3 wires version with plug has been cut but you can easily swap the defective unit plug over and connect it to the 3 wires. Should be an easy job. Please carefully check to make sure your current mirror is the 3 wires version without rain sensor and headlight dimming option. As long as your current mirror has a 3 or 4 pins plug with only three wires then this is the one for your car. Please check your car for the correct plug as describe before making a purchase as I am not responsible for wrong purchase. I have some buyer left me a negative feedback due to he purchased the wrong unit and claim that I did not disclose the information here so here it is. The auto dimming will darken the mirror automatically when the cars behind you or on the side is too bright or with high bean as well as cars from opposite direction with to bright headlight or high bean. It will then clears back to normal when the brightness reduce from cars in front or behind automatically. All sale are final...no refund.. Good Luck and thanks for looking.
