Sadly, Cars UK didn’t get an invite, but that’s not going to stop us doing our own ‘review’ of what the lucky ones who did attend thought of the Range Rover. Brake issue prompts recall of BMW and Rolls-Royce vehicles
Thu, 30 Sep 2010BMW is recalling about 198,000 cars with V8 and V12 engines to fix a problem with the brake system. The automaker said a potential leak in the brake system could cause a loss of vacuum, which would reduce the power braking assistance. BMW said the mechanical brakes will stop the vehicle even if there is a vacuum leak.

And the Drive-E engines really are good; we had one in recently (review to come soon) and the new D4 in the S60 is quick, frugal, quiet and, really, on a par with the best diesels from BMW. And we don’t say that lightly.
