This aftermarket 20 piece gasket set is for FJ40's from 1958 to Dec. 1974, except the lower license plate gaskets will only fit 1961 to Feb. 1974. The outboard hinge gaskets are 3/32 inch thick. All the other gaskets are 1/16 inch thick and are barely visible. All are made from neoprene rubber. This kit contains 8 outboard hinge gaskets, 4 inboard, 1 latch, 1 latch hook, 2 lower license plate bracket and 4 hinge protectors.  The hinge protectors just slip on the outboard hinges and stops chipping of paint when doors are opened up alll the way.

Insurance changes to make shopping around easier

DRIVERS renewing their car insurance could find it easier to shop around or haggle for a discount under new proposals set out by insurers. The Association of British Insurers (ABI) said it has written to the City regulator, suggesting that new minimum standards of information should be set across the market. The standards would mean that renewal documents for motor and home buildings and contents insurance would include the premium that the customer started the year paying alongside their renewal quote, so that they could be compared more easily.

Young Men Most Likely To Be Disqualified From Driving

NEW figures obtained by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) show that male drivers between the ages of 20 and 30 were the most common group to be disqualified from driving in the 12 months between July 2013 and June 2014. The figures were supplied by the DVLA following a Freedom of Information request made by the IAM. The statistics reveal the age groups most commonly carrying out a driving offence that then lead to a subsequent driving ban.
