The GF-545 2-piece suit is built with GTex Nomex outer layer and Nomex Knit interior. The proprietary GTex outer layer gives this suit a supreme soft knit feel with cooler internal temperatures. Users will experience a notable comfort only moments after first donning the GF-545 suit. A focused driver means more victories which can lead to more championships. Just like the one piece version, the GF-545 carries an impressive TTP rating of 23. The SFI foundation requires that, in order to be classified as an SFI 3.2A/5 suit, it must obtain a Thermal Protective Performance (TPP) score of 19. The GF-545 suit scores a solid TPP rating of 23 in order to offer a product that exceeds the use in which it was intended. Racers can rest assured when they know that the gear they have purchased was built with the intention of exceeding rather than meeting the specifications. British sports car manufacturer Ariel - best known for manufacturing the big boy’s go-kart, the Atom - has pulled the covers off its first new motorcycle in more than 50 years. The Ariel Ace bike will be priced from around £20,000, and will be manufactured in small numbers alongside the Atom sports car at the Ariel headquarters in Somerset. The Ace will build upon Ariel’s relationship with Honda by featuring its 173bhp 1237cc V4 engine and drive system.

Italian car designs of the 1950s, 60s and 70s are a fascination and inspiration to many – an era where some of the most skilled designers, craftsmen and engineers collaborated to reach what many believe a zenith. But while we may know everything there is about the cars of this period, the men who created them remain enigmatic largely due to their collective modesty. Daniel Tomičić and Gianluca Migliarotti are hoping to change this however, by creating a documentary film that tracks down the key players from the time.

This is Jaguar’s new sub-XK sports car. As we revealed back in 2009, Jaguar is working on an all-new small sports car, nicknamed the XE, to compete with Porsche’s best – and this is it. This official design sketch teases the concept car (dubbed C-X16, the hybrid supercar concept is C-X75) that will appear at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September.
