New Genuine HKS Fuel Pressure Regulator Universal Fitting 1407-RA015

When injectors are upgraded, the fuel pressure controlled by a factory fuel regulator may become too low, and injectors' atomization performance may be deteriorated. To improve such conditions, HKS Fuel Regulator can adjust the fuel pressure appropriate to injectors' capacity. Also, HKS Fuel Regulator can increase the fuel pressure without replacing injectors to increase the amount flow. (Extreme initial pressure change may cause bad atomization. Also, it increases the load to the fuel pump; in this case, the fuel pump may have to be replaced.)

Pressure Adjustable Range: 200-490kPa (2.0-5.0kgf/cm2)
[Factory Setting: 290±19kPa(3.0±0.2kgf/cm2)]

Volvo 13-liter liquefied-natural-gas engine announced for North America

Mon, 21 May 2012

It comes as no surprise that, with rising fuel costs, companies are continuing their efforts to increase efficiency. Volvo Trucks, for its part, plans to launch a 13-liter liquefied-natural-gas engine for North America in 2014 and is set to develop a new form natural-gas fuel called DME, or dimethyl ether. Volvo looks to add the liquefied-natural-gas option to complement its compressed-natural-gas (CNG) offerings.

New Range Rover Hybrid targeted at Europe: Frankfurt 2013

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

The new Range Rover Hybrid (pictured) has diesel power to target Europe It’s not the biggest news at Frankfurt, but the arrival of the Range Rover Hybrid and Range Rover Sport Hybrid is big news for Land Rover, and for buyers running cars who are subject to taxation on benefits. Surprisingly, Land Rover has gone the diesel route with the hybrid, coupling the 3.0 litre diesel engine to a 46bhp electric motor which, when working together, offers the same sort of performance as the V8 diesel engine but with much better economy and emissions – 44mpg and 169g/km. Logic would perhaps have dictated that the new hybrid should have a petrol engine, rather than a diesel, as the biggest hybrid markets in the world – the US and China – have no real appetite for diesel engines.
