What makes EyesOn Design judging special?

One of the very unique features of the EyesOn Design car show, held annually at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, is the judging of a category of cars by a group of visually impaired judges - members of the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology's (DIO) adult support group. They meet monthly from September through June and, in early Spring, they are given a description of the various vehicle categories and a list of what cars will be in each of them. They then discuss their options and select a category that is of special interest to them.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage, the hottest version of the two-seat coupe, is the latest step in the automaker's new-model offensive for 2009. Revealed just days after the Rapide four-door, the V12 Vantage is the second of four major reveals from Aston this year. LA Motor Show: Mercedes previews fast GLA compact SUV model

MERCEDES has unveiled an almost production-ready AMG compact SUV concept with a banzai 355bhp engine. The Concept GLA 45 AMG is the German company’s vision for a rapid car to rival the upcoming Porsche Macan, which like the Mercedes was also unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Using an extremely highly-tuned four-cylinder turbocharged engine similar to that first seen in the A 45 AMG hatchback, the GLA 45 AMG produces enough muscle to fire itself to 62mph in ‘less than five seconds’, according to Mercedes.
