Subaru WRX Concept: New York Auto Show 2013 – UPDATED + video

Subaru has revealed a concept for the next generation WRX at the New York Motor Show this week, but will it make it to the UK? The Subaru WRX is the poster child for the Playstation Generation, but Subaru in the UK seem to have fallen out of love with the idea of a budget supercar, preferring to concentrate on fluffy bunny dreams of hybrids and fresh air from the tailpipe. So there’s a lot of uncertainty if the next generation WRX – previewed this week in New York by the WRX Concept – will make it to the UK when it turns in to a production model.

Production 2014 Acura RLX to debut at LA Auto Show

It was springtime in New York and Acura was unveiling the “concept” version of their new RLX flagship (see photos above). Now, with spring behind us and summer celebrated, we head into the autumn show season with news that Honda's lux arm has confirmed that the production RLX is to debut at the L.A. auto show in late November.

Toyota As we predicted last week, Toyota will unveil a 400hp Yaris Hybrid-R supermini concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show next month after dedicating its appearance at the German auto expo to "the presentation of hybrid technology". The Japanese firm has been at the forefront of hybrid technology in the modern era with its eco-focused Prius family hatchback, but has also brought petrol-electric propulsion systems to the fore in top line world motorsport with its TS030 Le Mans racer.
