BRAND NEW 8.5 28 spline complete open carrier.

Fits ALL GM 8.5 corporate 10 BOLT 28 spline axles 1971-1987.

Actual items are pictured. Comes as pictured.

Carrier is a 3 series (takes regular 2.73-5.13 gears).

Will fit ANY 1971-Present GM vehicle with 8.5 rear. An 8.5 rear diff cover is pictured for reference (not included). The cover pictured is not the only version of the 8.5. The bolt-in rear axle and front axle versions look different.

The 8.5 is NOT the only "10 Bolt" GM used so please look at the diff cover pictured and find out what you have. After 1982 there is one other one - the 7.5/7.625. Before 1982 there are several "10 BOLT" car axles used.

SHIPS WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY OF RECIEVING PAYMENT MOST CASES.

UPS is responsible for transit times. Once item is shipped I have no control over how long it takes to reach you. Transit time depends on distance to be travelled among other things like shipping to a remote area. UPS business days are Monday-Friday.

Gears should always be installed by a professional. Installation of gears requires proper setup with the correct pinion and carrier shims. Pinion depth, backlash, bearing preload, contact pattern must be properly set.

Selecting the correct part is the responsibility of buyer. Item may vary slightly from file photo. The tracking number will be sent from UPS so please look for it before inquiring about it (spam folder, deleted folder,  etc.). Also check your email settings because yours may be set to automatically delete what it considers "spam". I will also place the Tracking Number on file with ebay which you will be able to view from your "My Ebay" page.

Mercedes To The Rescue This Winter

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

WITH the winter weather already resulting in plunging temperatures, Mercedes is reminding us that it’s time to switch to winter tyres. Although still a rare thing in the UK compared to other European countries, manufacturers and tyre companies are hoping that UK motorists will eventually embrace cold weather tyre technology. When fitted, the tyres can help deliver shorter braking distances in low grip and cold conditions.

Is the McLaren P1 order book about to close?

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

We’re hearing that McLaren is ready to close the order book for their P1 supercar before the specification – or the car – have been fully revealed. We’ve had the reveal of the P1 Concept – and seen it floating round the world as McLaren drum up potential customers with enormous bottomless pockets – and we’ve even seen the P1 on the move as McLaren shake down the development version of the P1. But so far we haven’t had the full specs of the P1 revealed and, as far as we can tell, McLaren hasn’t even divulged the full details of the P1′s power and performance to potential customers – no matter how wealthy they are.

Galpin to debut 1,000-hp supercar at Pebble Beach

Thu, 25 Jul 2013

Evidently, somebody at Galpin Auto Sports took a look at the dearly missed Ford GT -- there must have been one in their showroom -- and muttered out loud, "You know, this car just isn't rare or powerful enough." At that point, milk shot out of the nostrils of a bystander who had been standing within earshot. Seriously, 550 hp isn't cool. You know what's cool?
