Interior Motives magazine reboots

Tue, 03 Mar 2009

This evening saw the launch of Car Design News' all-new specialist interior design publication Interior Motives magazine.  Senior designers gathered together at Le Sip nightclub in Geneva for the annual Auto Design Night were among the first people in the world to get a look at the Spring 2009 relaunch edition of Interior Motives, which features a completely new treatment and a cutting-edge design format conceived to give readers an exclusive look behind the scenes of the most important interior designs unveiled during the last few months. Published every quarter, the new Interior Motives magazine features never-been-seen photos, sketches, renderings and breakdowns of the build process, offering unparalleled insight into the thinking behind these important new interiors and the people that created them - both at OEMs and the suppliers they collaborated with. The perfect accompaniment to Car Design News' up-to-the-minute news, interviews, essays, auto show coverage and detailed online design reviews, Interior Motives breaks new ground in the publishing sector, providing unparalleled depth and incisive quotes from the people and companies that are pushing interior design in new and exciting directions.

Public urged to give view on A9 plan

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

THE PUBLIC have been urged to have their say on the design of the most expensive road project in Scotland's history. The £3 billion upgrade of the A9, which runs from central Scotland to the north coast, to full dual carriageway will cost more than the M74 completion, the new Forth road bridge and the Aberdeen bypass combined. The first public displays setting out the logistical and environmental impact of the first £40 million section of the upgrade, from Kincraig to Dalraddy in the Highlands, will be unveiled this month.

Honda CR-Z Mugen: First photos revealed

Wed, 18 May 2011

Honda CR-Z Mugen - almost ready for Goodwood We got news a couple of months ago that Honda were getting Mugen to do a tuning job on the CR-Z Hybrid and put together a ‘Concept’ for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. But it seemed clear that although Honda were keen to point out that the Honda CR-Z Mugen would be a one-off, it was unlikely to stay that way. Honda are desperate to inject a bit 0f aggression in to the lethargic CR-Z, and a nippy Mugen version would help its image no end.
