Pink Rolls Royce FAB 1 actually has a pink vinyl ‘Wrap’

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

But it seems Rolls Royce must have thought much the same, as it turns out that the impressive paint job isn’t actually that at all, but a pink vinyl wrap provided – free of charge – by car vinyl wrap experts Raccoon. Raccoon chose a gloss laminated film to wrap the Ghost to make sure it looked as indistinguishable as possible from a bespoke paint job, and it worked. Concept Car of the Week: Ford GT90

Thu, 23 Aug 2012

This car, completed in just six months, was something of a successor to the GT40, using some of its design cues such as doors that cut into the roofline, but underneath many components were borrowed from the other cars such as the Jaguar XJ220.

But no complaints here, the PadRacer game for the device looks like a perfect time-waster for people who are supposed to look busy. PadRacer (www.itunes.com, $5) is a top-view racing game for four players similar to the old Ivan “Ironman” Stewart’s Super Off-Road arcade game.
