This is a genuine Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle 103 Big Bore conversion kit. It includes 2 black 103 cylinders, 2 matching flat top piston assemblies, and all the mounting hardware and gaskets needed to convert your 2008-up Harley-Davidson 96ci equipped Dyna model engine to a 103ci MONSTER. These are the exact same parts offered in Harley-Davidson’s Stage 1 kit (p/n: 27535-08) MINUS the high performance clutch spring and air filter. Kit does include full instructions for you “do it yourselfers”.

 

This Big Bore Kit lets you increase the displacement of your Twin Cam 96™-equipped model from 96 cubic inches (1584cc) to 103 cubic inches (1690cc).

  • Includes black Big Bore cylinders, Big Bore flat top piston assemblies, all mounting hardware, and gaskets
  • Requires separate purchase of primary cover gasket
  • Street legal when used with stock mufflers
  • All EFI-equipped models require ECM calibration

These Screamin' Eagle products are 50-state street-legal for sale and use on all vehicles, including those that are pollution controlled.

 

Note:

Recalibration is required for proper installation, and will allow engine to rev to 6200 RPM. Installation of automatic or manual compression release on large displacement engines is highly recommended.

The Mercedes ConceptFascination - Could make it in to production as an E-Class Coupe Estate Car makers are searching for every niche they can fill with their cars, particularly at the premium end. Audi and Mercedes are big players (we still think the Mercedes R-Class a niche too far), and BMW play the game too, with cars like the BMW X6M and the new BMW 5 Series GT. If the Mercedes E Class Coupe Estate does go in to production it will bring to five the number of models based on the same Class – the saloon, the coupe, the cabriolet and the estate plus this new Coupe Estate.

Nissan expects 20,000 initial orders for Leaf EV

Nissan North America will begin taking sales orders for its new Nissan Leaf electric vehicle next spring and expects to have 20,000 of them pre-sold by the time the model reaches U.S. showrooms in the third quarter. “We are confident we will have 20,000 reservations for the Leaf by the time it goes on sale,” Carlos Tavares, Nissan's chairman for the Americas, said Tuesday.

EyesOn Design Awards Winners announced

On the second day of the Detroit auto show, the traditional EyesOn Design awards took place in the newly-opened Atrium Stage of the Cobo Hall. For the first time in its eight-year history, the judges of the competition (who include present and retired design directors from almost every major automotive OEM) awarded the 'Best Concept Vehicle' award to two designs – the Ford Atlas and Nissan Resonance, beating the Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis and Lincoln MKC concepts to the award. In the production car category, the Cadillac ELR was a somewhat surprise winner, beating internal GM rival, the new Corvette Stingray to the award.
