       As the HDR 600 transducer receives sonar signals, it converts them to a digital depth that is displayed on your HDR 600. The depth reading is continuously updated as you travel across the water.

Easy-to-use controls on the HDR 600 allow you to set the SHALLOW ALARM or DEEP ALARM for an audible alert when the boat is in extreme shallow or deep water.

 The liquid crystal display (LCD) offers sharp viewing, even in bright direct sunlight, and is continuously lit for nighttime operation.

Drayson Racing and RCA launch EV racing car contest

Drayson Racing has launched a contest with the Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design program to design electric racing car concepts for the FIA's new Formula E series, which is set to start in 2014. The RCA's students are asked to present designs that explore new themes within the technical constraints as part of this course's curriculum. The previous Drayson Formula E concept was developed by Sergio Rinland who will be part of a series of workshops and lectures on aerodynamics, engineering packaging, production engineering and materials, giving students the technical knowledge to develop their designs.

THE AVERAGE CAR in the UK now emits an average of 128.3g/km, the lowest ever and almost 30% less than in 2000. This means the UK has exceeded the target set by the European Union for average CO2 emissions of 130g/km by 2015. The next target is 95g/km that is set for 2020.
