OEM REPLACEMENT

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer, meaning this part was originally built by Matsushista specifically for your car, using strict standards as demanded by NISSAN & INFINITI.

This is NOT a cheap $20-$50 replacement “Conversion Kit.”  LOOK CLOSELY at other sellers.  If it has a big RED igniter, it's NOT OEM.  If they modify your wiring, its NOT OEM.  Factory igniters are metal.  There is no such thing as an "OEM Conversion" that is OEM Factory.

This part is brand new, fresh out of the box.  It has never seen a day of rain or been through a carwash, or waited for years in a junkyard for someone to pluck it.

Why spend a little less on a junkyard part?

Why go through the hassle of pulling your car apart, replacing your part and worrying having to do it again because you used old parts?  Your original lasted part has lasted until now.  Why not replace it with a brand new exact same part?

WHY BUY USED WHEN YOU CAN GET NEW?

Take a good look at other EBAY sellers!  Our Ballasts & Igniters are BRAND NEW!  NOT USED!

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  DUE TO SOME BAD INTERNATIONAL BUYERS, USPS EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL IS NOW YOUR ONLY OPTION.

I get questions all the time about how to tell which part failed when headlight systems fail.  If you are a do-it-yourself kind of person, you can quickly diagnose the problem by swapping out parts from driver to passenger side, or vice-versa.

Start first by checking your fuses.  If they look fine, your problem could be the ballast (the larger metal box), the igniter (basically the cord from box to bulb) or the bulb. Troubleshoot by swapping them out between the driver and passenger side, and eliminating the problem part. Remember to wear clean cotton gloves when handling the bulb, as they can't have any contaminants on them.

What first catches your eye? If we asked you what it is that you look at first when you look at a woman (I know, sexist – but it is part of the story) you’d probably tell us it’s the rounded bits and then the face. Consciously, that’s what we think and that’s what we’d say if we’re being honest.

One Lap of the Web: Jeff Gordon strikes fear in NYC cab rider

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

-- Nothing in life is more fun than seeing your friends fear for their lives, and for the next five minutes, our good friend Travis Okulski really thought he was locked in a cab with a grizzled ex-con who was going to escape from the police and, as ex-cons are wont to do, murder him in the woods. Hah! What a schmuck.
