Ford's forgotten T-Drive program

Mon, 29 Oct 2012

Digital boss Andy Stoy recently passed along this little piece of nearly forgotten Ford history from the early 1990s. We know that our girl Murilee Martin dug this up way back in 2010, but the wonder of the Ford T-Drive system is worth revisiting. Many cited the cost of driving lessons as a disincentive and they also believe it is cheaper to use public transport than own a car themselves.

Codenamed F10, BMW's midsize sedan is restyled and reengineered in a bid to keep it ahead of key rivals such as the recently renewed Mercedes-Benz E-class and the Audi A6.
