Marine audio server for HDS® with waterproof dock. Full iPod, iPhone, and MP3 compatibility, all controlled from your Lowrance display. Connected either directly to a single Lowrance HDS® display or to multiple HDS® displays via a NMEA 2000® network, SonicHub™ allows the boater to control their onboard music components from any high-resolution display in the boat. A separate, fully waterproof dock connects an iPod, iPhone, or MP3 audio player to the SonicHub™ while keeping it protected and secure. Input lines allow for the control of an iPod, iPhone, Lowrance LWX-1 SIRIUS® radio (US only), integrated AM/FM radio tuner*, and plays MP3s on a USB stick. Sun, 15 Jan 2012The MINI Cooper is being recalled over fires Following an investigation started in October, BMW in the US has issued a recall for 88,911 MINI Coopers built between 2007 and 2011. Back in October we reported that the MINI Cooper S was under investigation in the US after a spate of fires. ‘Spate’ may be a bit strong as, at that time, there had been a total of just 12 fires reported.

Art Center and Clemson University students unveil Mazda Deep Orange 3 concept

The Deep Orange 3, which features a body designed by Art Center student Frederick Naaman, has been unveiled at the Center for Automotive Research Management's Briefing Seminars in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The project started with market research focusing on what kind of car Generation Y would want to drive, with the results showing that the majority wanted five or more seats.
