Lug Nuts, set of 20, Racing, tapered seat for American Torque Thrust rim
13/16" hex 2-1/2" long 1/2-20 thread. These are custom lug nuts that we have made special. They are tapered lug nuts specially designed for quick on and off at the race track. These make it much easier to mount and dismount your wheels on your car. They are self centering due to the taper as apposed to the straight shouldered lug nuts with washers that we would use more on street cars. These are also designed to fit our steel inserts that we also sell and install. The wheel is machined to fit a specially made steel insert for the American Racing Torque Thrust wheel. They are press fit into the wheel and allow you to repeatedly install and remove the wheel without chewing up the aluminum and therefore ruining the wheel. This insert process is $88.50 per wheel which includes the 5 inserts and the machine work. Total of $354.00 for all 4 wheels. THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE 30 LUG NUTS ONLY. Is Jaguar Land Rover about to get in to bed with Chery Automobile in China?
Wed, 19 Oct 2011Jaguar Land Rover to partner with Chery Automobile Following on from yesterday’s report that Jaguar are upping the ante in India with plans to assemble the Jaguar XF and Range Rover Evoque in Tata’s back garden, we now hear that JLR has agreed a deal with Chery Automotive in China for a joint venture. We reported back in February that sources in China were saying that the most likely partner for Jaguar Land Rover would be Chery Automobile, and reports from China Daily say that things have moved on since February and JLR and Chery have now got as far as seeking government approval for a joint venture. When we had the news back in February about a possible JLR/Chery deal, we asked Jaguar about the reports.

Used car sales return to pre-recession levels
Wed, 18 Sep 2013USED CAR SALES reached 7.1 million units in 2012, on a par with pre-recession levels and a climb of 6.4%, according to a comprehensive market report. The 2013 BCA Report by British Car Auctions valued the used car market a £38.1 billion in 2012, putting it £5.8 billion ahead of the new car market over the same period. In particular sales of younger used cars (0-2 years) increased significantly, rising by 18.6% to 762,000 and reversing a three year trend of falling volumes in this age sector.
