  • 1 Input shaft oil seal
  • 2 Shifting fork retaining pins
  • 2 Shifting arm seals
  • 2 Main case shifting rod plugs

  • 1 Front counter shaft o-ring

  • 2 Cage needle bearings for input shaft & reverse idler gear

Bert transmissions are primarily used in circle track race cars, including modifieds (IMCA, UMP, USMTS, etc.), late models, street stocks (depending on track rules), & many others.

New Ford Mustang for Europe gets 500 orders in first 30 seconds

The new Ford Mustang (pictured) was much in demand. The new Ford Mustang effectively went on sale in Europe at the UEFA Champions League final at the weekend, and it was an overwhelming success for Ford. Not only did Ford get the first 500 registrations – enough for the entire initial European offering – in the first 30 seconds,  it ended up with a total of 9,300 registrations during the match, and Ford say the lucky 500 ‘winners’ – 130 of them in the UK – will be notified in the next few weeks if they’re getting a new Mustang.

Fuel-economy standards for all light vehicles will rise 8 percent, to an average of 27.3 mpg for the 2011 model year, under new U.S. rules issued on Friday. The regulations will use a new system that sets standards for individual models based on their size.
