This is a multiple identical item listing for Brand New Matco GM V8 Engine Cam Tool Set, Part Number MST6686, or MST-6686.  Each bid quantity is for One (1) Tool Set, Containing Everything Shown.  You may bid / buy any number of sets, up to the total quantity available above.

These were purchased at an industrial liquidation last year, and they are brand new in molded plastic cases, inside the original factory boxes.

Combined Shipping

Important:  EBay's shipping calculator works reasonably well for single quantity purchases, however, it often overcharges on multiple/combined purchases.  This is especially true of large orders that will ship in Priority flat-rate boxes.  If your shipping cost seems excessive, please email us prior to paying and we will be glad to send a corrected invoice.

By default, we ship most non-fragile, lightweight items (under 13 oz) by First Class Mail to save you money.  First Class is usually cheaper for single items, but please click the "see details" link for other shipping options if you are buying multiple quantities.  The tiny link is located directly below the big blue "Add to Cart" button.  These options will be available for selection as you go through eBay checkout.

U.S. Shipments

We ship packages daily through USPS, and we upload all tracking information to eBay.  You should receive a tracking email sent to your eBay email address.

If you would like to use your UPS, FedEx, or freight account, we will be glad to package your order free of charge.  You are responsible for all labeling, call tags, and pickup arrangements with your carrier.  We will have your order boxed or palletized when your carrier is scheduled to arrive.  You may also pick up larger orders in person (by appointment) at our store to save the shipping costs.  However, our facility is not set up for retail shopping.

International (Non-US) Shipments

We ship all international packages through the US Postal Service.  We no longer charge a handling fee because of our increased worldwide sales, and we thank our international customers for making this possible.  International shipping costs continue to rise, but we will minimize those costs by using Priority Flat-Rate boxes and envelopes whenever possible.

International Shipping Options:

First Class Mail International, Small Flat-Rate Boxes & Envelopes:  Maximum weight is (4) pounds [1.81 Kilograms], delivery time averages about ten (10) business days, but can occasionally take several weeks.  Confirmation of shipping is provided by the customs document number, but package tracking is usually not available beyond the US border.

Priority Mail International, Priority Mail Medium and Large Flat-Rate Boxes:  Maximum weight/dimensions vary by country.  We use Priority Mail and occasionally Express Mail for larger/heavier packages that exceed the limits of cheaper options.  Delivery time averages about 7 to 10 business days, but can occasionally take several weeks.  Online tracking and (partial) insurance depends upon the destination country, but is included to most destinations.

Customs:

Customs fees and other import taxes are imposed by some countries.  We have no way of determining these costs prior to shipment, and all such costs are the responsibility of the customer upon delivery.  We will not mark packages as gifts or declare false item values.  Customs fraud is a serious crime in the US and we will not accept that risk.  Thank you in advance for understanding.

Customs Delays:  We have noticed that about 1% of international packages get held in foreign customs offices for extended periods (sometimes for several weeks).  Fortunately, almost all are eventually delivered.  Delays are more likely to occur in smaller countries or those with highly protectionist import policies, but they can happen anywhere.  Such delays are unacceptable in our opinion, but there is absolutely nothing we can do about them.

Payment Terms

Payments must be received within (10) days unless you have made prior arrangements with us.  We accept all types of payments, including all major credit cards, through Paypal.  EBay now prohibits sellers from offering acceptance of non-electronic payments, except for certain in-person transactions.

Returns

Any item may be returned to us within fourteen (14) days for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping costs.  Items listed specifically "as-is" are excluded from this refund policy.

Feedback

We leave feedback after the transaction is complete.  No transaction is complete until the customer has received his purchase and is satisfied.  If something needs to be refunded, the transaction is complete when the item has been returned and the customer has received a refund.  We do not cave in to extortion but we do make every reasonable effort to satisfy every customer.  If any item fails to meet your expectations, within the description posted in the listing, please contact us so we can make things right.  We want to earn your repeat business.

Thank you!

The Volkswagen brand's U.S. product planner wants a more Americanized lineup. His wish list calls for a small, locally built SUV, more diesels and possibly a return of the Phaeton.

Concept Car of the Week: Chrysler Lamborghini Portofino (1987)

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

In 1987, Chrysler purchased the bankrupt Italian carmaker Lamborghini to add an exotic brand to its portfolio. In celebration of its acquisition, Chrysler announced it would unveil a futuristic concept car at the Frankfurt motor show bearing a unique logo with the Italian raging bull framed inside Chrysler's famous Pentastar. It was during an internal aerodynamic study that designer Kevin Verduyn drew the lines of a four-seater sedan concept called the Navajo.

One Lap of the Web: Bugatti state of mind

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

-- Last week, we looked at the new Bugatti exhibit at the Mullin Museum, which taught us more about Bugatti in an afternoon than the last three years of idly flipping through Pebble Beach programs. Having thus immersed ourselves in the House That Ettore Built, we'd really like to drive to work in a faithful Type 35 replica by the aptly named Pur Sang, which Mark Dixon of Octane drove for his 140-mile commute. "You need to keep the revs up while the engine clears its throat and warms its plugs," he writes.
