Part 2 of our review of the Peugeot 207 CC The top’s down on the first drive, and close to home are some of my favourite twisty roads; roads I know well and for which I have a myriad of different benchmarks for test cars’ performance lodged in what passes for a brain. Sadly, my expectations and preconceptions were pretty much evidenced in the first corner, as the 207 CC turned in quite well but accompanied by some less than pleasant flexing which I expected to get worse as I pushed on. But it didn’t.

No M4 relief road 'before 2020'

A "RELIEF ROAD" for the M4 in south Wales is unlikely to be constructed before 2020, a leading transport expert has told Welsh Assembly Members. A new stretch of motorway south of Newport could be back on the cards after the UK ministers announced the possibility of Welsh Government borrowing the money needed for the scheme. However the re-emergence of proposals to ease traffic on Wales' heavily congested western gateway prompted fierce debate during a committee hearing in the Senedd.

CES: GM to open the dashboard to developers

At last year's Autoweek Design Forum, father of the iPod and Nest Labs co-founder Tony Fadell suggested that automakers concentrate on designing and building cars, leaving handset makers to handle infotainment. The latest announcements from Ford and GM -- in conjunction with the International CES -- suggest that automakers would rather treat the dashboard space as a handset. Yesterday, Dearborn, Mich., announced the Ford Developer Program, which opens up Sync to outside application development; now General Motors has announced a similar initiative.
