Thanks for your purchase. This Kit is designed to work as a complete Kit assembly.
There is a slight difference with the disc’s size from the manufacturer’s one and we would like to give a comprehensive explanation.
The OEM disc has an O.D. of 8” 7/8 vs ours which is 8” 1/4. This will not be a problem as long as our components are used all together as a kit without reusing any existing component. The measures of the Cover plate are the same as the OEM. The Pressure plate area is reduced by 5/8”. Our disc will fit perfectly.
This Kit has advantage vs the OEM due to the reduced dimension of the area where the friction material is on the disc, because it is thicker and heavier rather than thinner and wider. This converts the disc into an HD unit which will last longer than the one with the OEM dimensions.
