As one of the fastest growing automotive markets in the world, Russia and the Moscow Motor Show is gaining its share of the spotlight, with an increasing number of major auto manufacturers choosing to debut new vehicles at the show, just as Renault is with the all-new Symbol/Thalia. Jointly designed by Renault teams in France, Turkey and Romania, the C-segment three-box sedan was developed in 26 months. With a length of 4260mm and a height of 1430mm, the Symbol/Thalia is a no-frills design with abstained lines and surfaces and a larger DLO to body ratio when compared to other European-styled vehicles.

Not content with unveiling the Nismo version of its GT-R supercar at the Tokyo Motor Show, Nissan also showed three new concepts covering motorsport style, modern design and their latest dramatic electric vehicle thinking. Time to meet the triangular-shaped, three-seat BladeGlider EV, the denim-seated IDx Freeflow and the stylishly go-faster IDx Nismo. We were close, but its actually McLaren Special Operations -  and not McLaren Exclusive –  that’s doing the customising. But the principle is the same; McLaren will do pretty much anything you want done to your McLaren – as they always have – but with the McLaren Road Car division growing all the time it will all now come under the banner of the new  McLaren Special Operations division.
