CDN-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design competition winner announced

Vladislav Domanin is the overall winner of the CDN-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design competition. The announcement was made by Friedhelm Engler, Director GME Advanced Design, during the second day press day of the Paris motor show on the Opel/Vauxhall stand. Mateusz Wowk from the Academy of Art of Design in Wroclaw was this year's runner-up in the exterior category, while Matic Vihtelic of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Ljubljana, was declared runner-up in the interior category.

Concorso Ferrari puts on a show in Pasadena

WITH VIDEO -- Most people have seen the Old Town section of Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, Calif., once a year--during the Rose Bowl parade. Well, finally, there's a new and good reason to interrupt traffic on Colorado: Concorso Ferrari. AutoWeek's Keith Crain receives Mercedes Star Driver award

AutoWeek editor-in-chief Keith Crain recently received the Star Driver award from Mercedes-Benz, an honor that recognizes an individual who has made great contributions to motorsports and the automobile industry. Crain, shown at left with Geoff Day, director of communications at Mercedes-Benz USA, is the sixth recipient of the Star Driver honor. He joins the ranks of Sir Stirling Moss, John Fitch, Jochen Mass, Jesse Alexander and AutoWeek senior contributing editor Denise McCluggage.
