The new “smartwatch” was announced this week and allows wearers to read text messages, make phone calls and browse the internet on the device. General Motors' MyLink rivals Ford's Sync infotainment system
Fri, 18 Feb 2011General Motors is introducing a competitor to Ford's Sync infotainment system that will provide text messaging, e-mails, traffic advisories and other connected-car functions. The system, called Chevrolet MyLink, will let motorists link their smart phone and its functions--such as texting, calls, music or navigation--to the vehicle's voice recognition software, sound system and navigation screen. MyLink will be launched in the Chevrolet Volt and Equinox this fall.
Nissan Juke-R (2012) goes into production

The Juke-R is the result of the Nissan Europe Technical Centre in Cranfield teaming-up with UK motorsport engineering firm RML to stuff the powertrain of a Nissan GTR into a Nissan Juke bodyshell to create 'the world's fastest crossover'.
