With the lift folded, rolling the dirt bike over the stand activates the pop-up design and with a simple push of the foot pedal raises up the bike from its frame 16¾" high. It is recommended to have an extra set of hands to help guide/lift up the rear of the bike when using the stand. The 6¾" long by 9" wide top platform features a riveted rubber strip that grips the bikes frame and prevents scratches. VW Beetle GSR: Price from £24,900
Fri, 10 May 2013The Beetle GSR is a homage to the Yellow-Black Racer Beetle from the 1970s (GSR stands for Gelb Schwarzer Renner – which means Yellow-Black Racer) which featured a similar paint job, boosted power (a whole 49bhp) and was also limited to 3,500 units. But the 2013 version of the Beetle GSR does at least offer much more get up and go than the 1970s GSR managed. That means the GSR comes with VW’s 2.0 litre turbo with 207bhp which is enough to get the yellow Bug to 62mph in 7.3 seconds on its way top 142mph, and is the same power output all Beetles with the 2.0 litre TSI will get from May 1st (up from 197bhp).
Volvo V40 Cross Country arrives

We thought it was going to be the Volvo XC40 – denoting an SUV come crossover version of the new V40 – but Volvo has decided that their more rugged version of the V40 will take the Cross Country name - first used on the V70 in 1997 – and so we get the new Volvo V40 Cross Country. Following on from the new V40 R-Design, revealed last week, Volvo now offers a V40 they say is for ‘those who want a sense of adventure in their everyday life‘ – in other words, this is a slightly more rufty-tufty V40.
