Jaguar BlackJag 2004 concept car up for sale
Wed, 28 May 2014It's not often that a former auto show concept is offered for sale, mostly because of buzzkill stuff like government crash standards, emissions compliance documents and other boring paperwork. But it does happen from time to time, such as when General Motors sold off a chunk of its Heritage Collection -- though most of those cars were sold without titles, just on bills of sale, which prevents them from being registered for road use. Telematics discounts tempting young drivers
Wed, 17 Sep 2014INCREASING numbers of young drivers are opting-in to telematics-based car insurance in attempt to reduce their premiums. Specialist young driver insurer Carrot has reported a 62% rise in the number of its policyholders choosing to have a telematics device, consisting of accelerometers and a GPS tracker, fitted to their car. The company says that they could save up to 20% on their annual insurance premium, which for the youngest drivers almost always amounts to a discount of hundreds of pounds.
Ferrari FF: More Pictures!
Sun, 06 Feb 2011Ferrari has revealed more pictures of the FF, the shooting-brake-styled supercar set to debut at the Geneva motor show. These shots show the 651-hp, V12-powered speed demon frolicking in the snow, where it's putting Ferrari's first-ever all-wheel-drive system to good use. The four-seater replaces the venerable 612 Scaglietti and is expected to arrive in the fall.
