Bentley planning big model expansion
Thu, 24 Jul 2014It looks like the last Bentley Brooklands (pictured) will not be the last after all We already know that the Bentley SUV is on the way shortly to take on the might of the new Range Rover, and it seems certain there’s about to be Bentley Mulsanne Speed as Bentley rolls out its ‘Speed’ moniker to its most prestigious car. Top Gear Tonight: Burma Road Trip – yes, it’s Top Gear Christmas in March
Sun, 09 Mar 2014Wet in Burma in part 1 of the Top Gear Christmas Special Top Gear tonight – episode 6 of series 21 – isn’t actually part of the regular series twenty one (that was done and dusted with last week’s Porsche 918 Spyder episode) but is the first part of a two part Christmas Special Road Trip. Yes, March is a bit late for a Christmas Special, but it’s becoming the Top Gear norm. What isn’t normal is the fact that there are no cars for Messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May to drive, instead they’re all in beaten up trucks bought sight unseen from the internet for a road trip across Burma to the River Kwai.
Keep children safe this winter
Tue, 05 Nov 2013PARENTS are being urged to be extra careful now their children are coming home from school in the dark. They are being advised to give their children glow in the dark fluorescent clothing to help make them as visible as possible to drivers. By wearing a high visibility vest or jacket, children’s safety will be improved, says GEM Motoring Assist’s David Williams.
