SHIPPING: The USPS, our sole carrier, has replaced their Parcel Post service with one called Parcel Select. It is not uncommon that Parcel Select is more costly than Priority Mail. Please note the cost of each option before choosing a shipping method.

Domestic: The United States Postal Service is our sole carrier. For the economy of buyers, we offer First Class, Parcle Post, and Media Mail shipping options whenever the cost will be lower than Priority Mail. Please bear in mind that the USPS estimates delivery of Parcel Post and Media Mail shipments to be from 2 to 9 business days.

International: All international sales are shipped via the USPS Express service, the least expensive shipping method offered in the United States which provides both delivery confirmation and tracking.

The United States Postal Service is the most economical international carrier, and we ship via the USPS exclusively. If you reside in one of the few countries to which the USPS does not provide tracking or delivery confirmation, we must, unfortunately, ask that you refrain from bidding/buying.

We are required to declare full value of items purchased and you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional costs for customs clearance must be borne by buyers as we have no control over these charges.

Expected delivery time varies from country to country, and the USPS estimates that most international packages will arrive within 7 to 10 business days.

REFUNDS: Please be sure of what you are purchasing or bidding on, as we cannot issue partial refunds to buyers. If additional information or photos are needed, please send us an email. We will, however, issue a full refund, including all related shipping costs, if an item is in any way not as described.

Volvo S60 DRIVe & V60 DRIVe launch

Tue, 22 Feb 2011

The Volvo V60 DRIVe This week we’re out playing with a Volvo DRIVe model, although our car is the S40 DRIVe. DRIVe models are Volvo’s push at all things green (or all things blue if you’re German) and take a regular Volvo and eco the bejesus out of it with stuff like stop-start, low rolling resistance tyres and the plethora of eco-toys car makers use to make the headline economy and emissions unbelievable. The result is a Volvo that drives pretty much the same as any Volvo but which can – as long as you play the eco-driving game – run almost on fresh air, and because cars like this are designed to hit emissions targets on official cycles, they’re also good on stuff like VED and BIK. And if the S40 DRIVe we’ve got this week is anything to go by, you can still drive with enthusiasm and enjoy it as long as you don’t mind the economy suffering.

Jaguar XF gets a few tweaks for 2014 MY

Tue, 11 Jun 2013

The Jaguar XF gets a new engine and tweaks for 2014 In many ways the Jaguar XF is Jaguar’s most complete car, and significant updates since it launched in 2008 have kept it fresh and appealing. But the tweaks Jaguar has wrought for 2014 are relatively minor as the XF gets towards the end of its current cycle, the most significant of which is an upgrade to the 2.2 litre diesel engine. The 2.2 litre ECO2 engine is a replacement for the 161bhp entry-level diesel in the 2013 XF and gets revised cooling and bigger EGR valves which have conspired to improve official economy, and therefore reduce emissions (to 128g/km) handily putting the 2.2 XF in to a lower BIK band (down from 21 to 19 per cent).
