MINI Goodwood ‘Rolls Royce’ range to grow

Fri, 29 Apr 2011

the MINI Goodwood range is going to grow We finally got the MINI by Rolls Royce – The MINI Inspired by Goodwood – at this year’s Shanghai Motor Show, although it had been on the cards for a couple of years. ‘Inspired by Goodwood’ is a bit less blatant than ‘MINI Rolls Royce’, but it still reflects the prestige and craftsmanship associated with Rolls Royce, as these days Rolls Royce are put together on the Goodwood Estate. When MINI officially revealed the Goodwood, they said they would be building just 1,000 cars, based on the MINI Copper S, but with a non-vented bonnet and custom alloys, burr walnut and cornsilk leather.

Rear-drive revelers: Spring Fest draws LX devotees to California love-in

Fri, 03 Jun 2011

Long before Eminem boosted the image of Detroit and the Chrysler 200, Fatchance was getting the West Coast party started for Chrysler's rear-drive LX cars. It introduced him to www.LXforums.com, a worldwide virtual car club that has more than 38,000 members dedicated to the Chrysler LX rear-drive platform used by the Chrysler 300 and the Dodge Charger, Challenger and Magnum.

New 2011 / 2012 Ferrari 612 is 4×4 Shooting Brake

Fri, 31 Dec 2010

The 2011 / 2012 Ferrari 612 will be a 4x4 Shooting Brake (render by Vandenbrink design) Last month we had an email in from Argentina pointing us towards spy shots published by Autoblog Argentina which seemed to be of an all wheel drive Ferrari 612. Which tied in very well with the story we ran over a year ago when we reported that a 4×4 platform for the next Ferrari 612 was a certainty, just six months after we reported Ferrari were working on four wheel drive hybrid propulsion system. But the Ferrari 4×4 setup is very different to the permanent all wheel drive system used by Lamborghini.
