Pforzheim University Summer Show 2007

Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's summer degree show held in July, one of two graduation shows per year. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, a Honda project by MA students, and a Renault exterior and interior project by the 4th, 5th and 7th semester students. Hyundai issues recalls for faulty brake switch, loose bracket

Hyundai is recalling 186,254 Elantra vehicles from model years 2011-2013 to replace a support bracket on the headliner. Hyundai says the bracket can be dislodged during a side-curtain-airbag deployment and could injure the driver. In a crash in May, an occupant’s ear was cut when the driver’s side curtain airbag deployed.

Hyundai Eon launches in India from around £3.5k No, reasonable though it would be to assume so, the Hyundai Eon is not a new electric car, but it is Hyundai’s answer to the best-selling small car in India – the Suzuki Alto. Launched on the back of a 900 Crore investment by Hyundai in development and production for the Eon (a Crore is 10 million Rupees, so that’s about £125 million) the Eon is a big push by Hyundai to make a big dent in the burgeoning Indian market. The Eon comes with an 814cc 3-pot 55bhp petrol engine – which won’t exactly have Indian buyers flying along at breakneck speeds – and offers properly decent styling, rather than the toy car styling of something like the Tata Nano.
