Run by and benefiting the Prince and Princes of Wales Hospice in Glasgow, event invites owners of high performance cars – not just Formula One machines – to participate in a series of drag races in return for a donation to the Hospice.

Mercedes-Benz has already confirmed that the new 2012 Mercedes A-Class will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and that it’s the five-door A-Class that will hit the road first. Which means Mercedes are out shooting footage for the launch of the A-Class, and a sharp-eyed cyclist has managed to grab a brief bit of footage of the new A-Class on the road to Playa Blanca on Lanzarote as Mercedes went about their work.

Mon, 28 Apr 2014Sitting in a line under the unforgiving rays of the sun was an astonishing sight: A 375MM Ferrari followed by a four-cylinder Ferrari 875 and three of the most famous cars of all: A 250TR, 250GTO and a 250LM, the last car to win Le Mans for Ferrari. They were not roped off, and the enthusiastic but respectful attendees were free to get as close as they wanted to better admire and take photographs of them. But this was only the beginning.
