Kia Magentis (2011) first official pictures
Sun, 14 Mar 2010This is the all-new Kia Magentis, revealed by the Korean company ahead of the official launch on 1 April at the 2010 New York motor show. It does indeed. Saloons below the likes of the Aston Martin Rapide are rarely beautiful, and although we're not saying the Magentis is a stunner, it is definitely a decent step forward for Kia.
Video lets you experience the 2013 Range Rover reveal event
Wed, 12 Sep 2012The recent public unveiling of the 2013 Range Rover confirmed what earlier reports suggested: The newest version of the SUV has emerged lighter and more efficient than its predecessors, but hasn't sacrificed the performance or luxury that built the brand's reputation. The Range Rover's all-aluminum unibody structure has a lot to do with this. Aluminum helps cut the weight of the vehicle's body by 39 percent.
The Mini is 50 years old today
Fri, 08 May 2009Today - 08/05/2009 - is the 50th anniversary of the first Mini rolling off the production line. To celebrate, and for a bit of free publicity (see, we’re playing the game) BMW has shipped the first Mini to roll of the production line back to Cowley to celebrate (picture at the bottom). 621 AOK, a Mini Minor, in Old English White, looks as fresh as the day it rolled off the production line half a century ago (although I wouldn’t mind betting it doesn’t have it’s original sills – they always rusted through – or copes with its original distributor and leads – one splash of rain and the car ground to a halt!).
