Manufacturer Limited One Year Warranty Our products carry a Manufacturer Limited One Year Warranty against workmanship and materials under normal driving conditions as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle in which the parts were installed. Any alternations or problems due to improper installation will not be covered. In the event of failure due to defect in material or workmanship, the original purchaser is responsible for the cost of labor, antifreeze and any additional parts required for re-installation. All vehicles used for commercial use like police vehicles, rental vehicles or any other fleet vehicles are excluded from our warranty due to extreme conditions beyond normal usage. Also excluded from warranty are cooling products that have been altered, subjected to misuse, abuse, negligence or operating conditions other what such equipment was designed. This also does not cover damage to connection threads stripped during installation or any chemical effects of water, steam, or other liquid, gases or agents present in the system or operating environment of the equipment or the failure of the vehicle warning system. Flushing the system It is important to flush (Drain and refill) your vehicles cooling system before installing the new radiator. Failure to do this will void warranty. Distilled water is recommended to mix with your manufacturers recommended coolant. Evidence of hard water in the radiator will void warranty. Warranty Exclusions Warranty excludes commercial vehicles due to extreme conditions. 1. Improper installation: Damage as the result of improper or incomplete installation, or abuse by the installer. 2. Stripped threads: Cross-threading any fitting that results in damage to the threads. 3. Excessive heat is the most common cause of radiator failure. Radiators are very vulnerable to steam erosion. 4. Electrolysis: Aluminum is vulnerable to electrolytic corrosion because aluminum is a highly reactive metal. 5. Extreme Pressure: Splits in radiator seams or between the tubes and header may be the result of too much pressure in the cooling system. |

Thu, 12 Dec 2013When we first saw the new Chevy Silverado, we thought, “Hmmm, styling's conservative, interior quality looks a bit better … these things better drive well or Chevy's in a heap of trouble.” No doubt, the new Silverado is an outstanding full-size pickup, so much so we put one on our June 24 cover and said that it was “more refined than ever.”And that's really the story here. In our Best of the Best testing, we found the Silverado to be as quiet, refined and smooth as one could ask from a full-size pickup. Testers also were impressed with the body control (for a large truck) and outstanding ride.
Design Contest: Michelin Challenge Design announces 2008 theme and call for entries
Tue, 30 Jan 2007Michelin Challenge Design, one of the world's fastest growing transportation design programs, has announced it will continue its focus on safety in 2008 under the central theme of 'Safety over Size.' The 2008 theme was announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, where the Michelin Challenge Design exhibit showcased works from vehicle manufacturers, students, as well as the first full-size concept to be submitted by an independent entrant. Rising energy costs, urban congestion and environmental concerns are all contributing to an increased interest in smaller vehicles, but consumers are often hesitant to consider smaller vehicles due to safety concerns that are both real and perceived. Participating designers are encouraged to 'throw away the book' and to present ideas that enhance the real and perceived safety and security of smaller vehicles through design innovations in areas such as accident avoidance, enhanced driver controls, survivability and visibility.
Bentley Continental GT – Pop Art
Sun, 05 Jul 2009The Bentley Pop Art - created by Pop Artist Romero Britto So it’s quite startling to see a Bentley Continental GT with a paint job by renowned ‘Pop Artist to the Stars’ Romero Britto, who has created this one-off Continental GT – donated by Bentley Motors – for an exhibition in Germany at Automobil Forum Unter den Linden, which runs from 10th July until 6th September. But as I’m sure you’ll have guessed, this is not just a Pop Art paint job for the sake of it. The Pop Art Bentley will be auctioned off at the end of the exhibition in aid of the Nathalie Todenhöfer Foundation for multiple sclerosis and Best Buddies, a charity for the mentally challenged – which is all very noble – and good on Bentley for donating the Continental GT.
