Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport ‘L’Or Blanc’: It’s a ‘Potty’ Veyron
Fri, 01 Jul 2011The porcelain-enhanced Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport 'L'Or Blanc' You could argue that every Bugatti Veyron is a rather potty car. But the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport ‘L’Or Blanc’ is even more potty than usual – it’s got bits of porcelain all over the car. Vauxhall Astra VXR (2012) gets 282bhp + new GTC photos
Fri, 24 Sep 2010Astra GTC Concept Paris Vauxhall sneaked us a peek at the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR a couple of weeks ago – slightly titivated and called the Astra GTC Concept admittedly – but the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR none the less. And we ran the story, even though there was precious little to say beyond they’d turned the ‘blades’ round on the doors to make it look more butch and that it’d turn up when the 3 door Astra does in a years time. But Vauxhall has decided to throw a little more out there, so we get images of the interior and some firm (ish) news on the oily bits.
80mph limit plans 'to be revisited'
Mon, 30 Sep 2013SHELVED PLANS to raise the motorway speed limit to 80mph will need to be revisited, a transport minister said as he declined to say whether he ever broke the current law to drive at that speed. Stephen Hammond said ministers were split on the move - which was unveiled with a fanfare by Philip Hammond in 2011 but then axed from the agenda by successors as transport secretary. Polling suggests a 10mph increase in the maximum allowed on the network would be extremely popular among motorists - and the transport minister recognised "a lot" already drove at the higher speed.
