Gauge reads from 0-60 , has two elecrical leads on the back surrounded by rubber sleeves. This gauge must have been originally intended for military use, because of the protected leads, because the face is surrounded by slots to light the face, and because the outer beauty ring on the gauge is Olive Drab Green. NOTE: The box is in poor condition, may have flaps torn or missing; but gauge inside is in new condition. USA - made in America. ... being sold-as-is ...

Alex Mair, retired head of GM technical staff, Pontiac and GMC, dies

Alex Mair, former group executive in charge of General Motors' technical staffs and general manager of the automaker's Pontiac and GMC divisions, died Sunday in Orange City, Fla. He was 91. Mair was named group executive of GM's technical staffs in November 1978 and remained in that position until he retired in 1986.

Make no mistake, the Festival of Speed is unlike any other I have ever attended.
