Mazda to build new Toyota car for U.S. market

Mazda Motor Corp. will build a Toyota subcompact car at its new plant in Mexico for sale in the United States. The new Toyota will be a rebadged version of the Mazda2 and go on sale in 2015.

"The EN-V has the potential to reinvent transportation in key markets by creating a new vehicle DNA through the convergence of electrification and connectivity," said Chris Borroni-Bird, GM's director of Advanced Technology Vehicle Concepts.
