Not going to get much better that this pair if you’re restoring or just looking for some unusual “Garage Art”. It’s been quite a while since these were the rage started by Don Garlits. Many top fuel racers built cars for these small diameter tire wheel combinations. I’m thinking that Cragar and maybe Monocoque built these billet aluminum spindle mount wheels to accommodate these Goodyear D1287 front tires. No bearings or caps for these but the races are pressed in the wheels and the bearings are common for all the dragster and funny cars (Anglia spindle).

The Lamborghini Jota Tease (click for bigger picture) How could we have a new car these days without having to suffer an interminable tease? Jaguar took the drawn-out tease to new heights last year with the new XJ tease and it seems that we can’t have a release any more without getting fed bizarre imagery and ‘spy’ video. But Lamborghini look set to make the tease even more ‘un-informing’ than before.
