Faurecia Pin-spiration calls for premium pinboards
Fri, 27 Jul 2012Faurecia has launched its ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' contest, with a brand new 64GB iPad up for grabs. Tier supplier Faurecia is using online sharing community Pinterest to host a new competition to create a pinboard named ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' – categorized under ‘Cars and Motorcycles' – and filled with things that reflect the meaning of ‘premium’ that could also be used in automotive design. New Chevrolet Colorado pickup is headed for U.S. showrooms

The new Colorado was developed by General Motors' Brazil operations to be sold globally. GM said the current Colorado will be sold through the 2012 model year.
2013 Aston Martin DB9 doubles down with vaunted V12
Tue, 18 Sep 2012The 2013 Aston Martin DB9 is getting a power boost thanks to parts and pieces from under the hood of the upcoming Vanquish. The updated DB9 borrows some of the engine architecture and hardware from the Vanquish, enabling output from the 5.9-liter V12 to reach 510 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. Those are considerable increases compared with today's car, which is rated at 470 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque.
