Audi Q5, Skoda Yeti, & Abarth 500 are the UK’s lowest depreciating cars
Mon, 26 Mar 2012Audi Q5 - the UK's least depreciating car The key to low-cost motoring has more to do with depreciation than running costs, so pick an Audi Q5, Skoda Yeti or Abarth 500. The difference in residual values of cars after three years can have a huge impact on motoring costs. Nissan and Fiat marketing heads trade insults over 'visual pollution'
Thu, 06 Dec 2012A war of words has erupted between Fiat and Nissan's marketing departments over their electric vehicle designs, the Leaf and the 500e. Matt Davis, head of Fiat product marketing, told Bloomberg News before the launch of its all-electric 500e at the Los Angeles show last week that "ugliness is probably one of the worst forms of pollution," seen as an indirect attack on Nissan's electric offering. The then 500e came under attack with Nissan criticizing the fact that it was created only to meet Californian emissions requirements.
Power hike for Porsche Boxster
Thu, 19 Oct 2006By Phil McNamara Motor Industry 19 October 2006 02:37 Porsche has upgraded its two Boxster models, by transplanting the Cayman coupe's punchier flat six engines. The base Cayman cabriolet – sorry, Boxster – now gets a smidgen more power and torque from its 2.7-litre unit, with outputs climbing to 245bhp and 201lb ft. The tweaks shave a tenth off the 0-62mph sprint, reducing it to 6.1sec, and improve fuel economy by 1mpg to 30.4.
